What is TJ's Premium Picks?

TJ’s Premium Picks are hand-selected diamonds that represent the top 10% of the market, chosen for their superior cut, brilliance, and craftsmanship. Using advanced grading, we go beyond standard certifications like GIA’s “Excellent” — focusing on precise proportions that reflect light in the most stunning way.

All Premium Picks meet a minimum grade of F color and VS1 clarity, making them among the most brilliant and well-cut diamonds available.

To give you complete peace of mind, you can also opt for our Refund Assurance add-on, exclusively available for Premium Picks. (See full terms below.)

📝 Terms & Conditions (for Money-Back Assurance add-on)

  • Eligibility: Applies only to Premium Picks diamonds under 1.20 carats, F color or better, and VS1 clarity or higher.
  • Optional Add-On: Must be selected and paid for during checkout. Not automatically included with your order.
  • Return Period: Diamond must be returned within 14 calendar days from the system email notification that your order is ready for collection/delivery.
  • Condition: Diamond and original certificates must be returned in perfect condition.
  • Fee: SGD150 covers the labor to remove the diamond and return it to the supplier. This fee is non-refundable.
  • Refund Timing: Refunds (for the diamond only) are processed within 14 business days after receiving the return.
  • Exclusions: Custom settings, altered diamonds, or diamonds 1.20ct or above are not eligible.
  • Non-Redemption: If not used within 14 days, the add-on is considered expired and is non-refundable.

What does the warranty cover?

To give you peace of mind, every piece of jewellery purchased from Tailored Jewel is covered against manufacturing defects.

What’s Covered

  • If you suspect a production issue, bring the item back to us for a detailed evaluation.
  • If the damage is confirmed to be caused by a manufacturing fault, we will repair or remake the item at no charge.
  • If the item is no longer in stock or cannot be repaired, we may offer a refund or replacement of equal or greater value.
  • If the damage is not due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll advise on possible repair options and their costs.

 

Warranty Validity

  • Diamond Engagement Rings, Wedding Bands & Fine Jewellery
    Covered for 10 years from the date of receipt.
  • Silver-based or Gold Vermeil Jewellery
    Covered for 1 year from the date of receipt.

 

Small Side Diamonds

    • First 2 years: We cover full material and labor if a diamond falls off due to a manufacturing defect.
    • After 2 years (up to 10 years): Labor remains free, but replacement material cost is borne by the customer.
  • Diamonds certified by GIA or IGI are excluded from this warranty.

 

Exclusions

This warranty does not apply under the following conditions:

  • The item has been serviced, modified, or altered by anyone other than Tailored Jewel.
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, trauma, or excessive wear and tear.
  • Cosmetic issues from normal use, including scratches, discolouration, or skin reactions due to exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, pools, or bathing.
  • Loss or theft of jewellery.

 

We’ll never turn you away. If anything goes wrong, bring the piece back to us. Our team will inspect it carefully:

  • If the issue is from a flaw (e.g., a diamond falls despite secure prongs), we’ll cover the full repair.
  • If there’s visible damage or denting caused by impact or mishandling, we’ll still help — labor is free, and we’ll quote for any necessary materials.

What is the difference between TJ Basic Care and TJ Lifetime Care?

TJ Basic Care is an optional add-on available at checkout for all gold and platinum rings.
It provides essential post-purchase support and peace of mind.

Included Services:

  • One-time resizing, polishing, or plating
  • Additional fee applies for resizing for more than 2 HK ring size
  • 📅 Valid for 24 months from the date your order is ready for collection or delivery

Perfect for customers who want light maintenance within the first two years — ideal if you’re unsure of your ring size or want a professional refresh.

 

TJ Lifetime Care is a premium care package available for selection during checkout on all gold and platinum rings.
It’s designed for long-term flexibility and support.

Included Services:

  • 🔁 Up to three (3) free resizing sessions
  • Additional fee applies for resizing for more than 2 HK ring size
  • ♾️ Valid for a lifetime — no expiry

Ideal for customers who want resizing options throughout life changes (e.g., weight changes, lifestyle, comfort preferences). This is our commitment to walk with you for life.

Certificate Of Authenticity

Certificate of Authenticity

Every Tailored Jewel order comes with a certificate of authenticity. This confirms that all diamonds and gemstones are exactly as promised — matching the specifications in your quotation, invoice, sales order, or online confirmation.

 

We only use materials sourced from trusted suppliers who comply with ethical practices.

 

Certified Diamonds & Gemstones

  • Natural Diamonds (0.30ct and above): Certified by GIA and laser-inscribed with a certificate number. This inscription is available for inspection upon collection or via photo/video for shipped orders.
  • Lab-Grown Diamonds (0.30ct and above): Certified by IGI or GCAL, with matching reports provided. These reports verify cut quality, carat, color, clarity, and are also laser-inscribed on the diamond.
  • Certified Gemstones (e.g. sapphire, ruby): Certified by recognized gem labs (e.g. GIA, AGS). The stone will match its report in shape, size, color, and attributes.

 

Non-Certified Diamonds & Gemstones

  • For diamonds or gemstones under 0.30ct, a certificate may not be issued. However, they are guaranteed to match the details in your sales proposal — including shape, weight, color, clarity, and cut.

Metal Hallmarks

All gold and platinum pieces are stamped with the Tailored Jewel (TJ) logo and a certified hallmark indicating metal purity:

  • 14K Gold – 58.5% pure gold (Stamped: 585)
  • 18K Gold – 75% pure gold (Stamped: 750)
  • Platinum 950 – 95% pure platinum (Stamped: PT950)

Our white gold is 100% nickel-free, making it safe for sensitive skin.

What does lifetime customer service mean?

At Tailored Jewel, our relationship doesn’t end after your purchase. We offer lifetime customer support, so you can always reach out — whether it’s months or years later.

You’ll have access to our dedicated customer care team (not a chatbot), who are here to help with anything from styling advice to service requests or upgrades.

This is not the same as warranty. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, while lifetime service is our way of staying with you long after your special day.

How to claim for refund and warranty?

To request refunds or warranty claims, please contact our customer helpdesk here.

For a refund, the item must be in its original condition, with no visible signs of damage, wear, or alteration. It should be returned with its original packaging and all included components (such as certificates and gifts).

Tailored Jewel reserves the right to suspend return processing if these conditions are not met.
